Synopsis and Plot Summary
Li Fuzhu is an ordinary girl from an ordinary family. One day, she magically travels into her favorite comic book where she meets the young emperor Yun Yi. Suddenly, she goes from being a bad student who can barely pass at school to a goddess worshipped by everyone.
High school student Li Fuzhu (Zhang Yuenan) used to be at the bottom of her class. She accidentally strays into the fantasy world of comics in a barren country known as Yunlai. She is mistaken for a goddess who has descended from the sky. She becomes a symbol of hope to save the kingdom and given the privilege of being on an equal footing with emperor Yun Yi (Cao Junxiang).
Li Fuzhu becomes embroiled in the conflicts of the royal court and becomes acquainted with the puppet emperor with no real power. Yun Yi is a failure as a ruler. He is caught between the domineering prime minister and his mother, the empress dowager. Li Fuzhu takes Yun Yi around the kingdom to eat, drink and play and also relies on her good-for-nothing knowledge to help Yunlai recover their lost territory to become prosperous again. What this may spell for the future of Yunlai is yet to be seen.
