Synopsis and Plot Summary

When Sang Zhi was in high school, teachers would frequently call in her parents for a chat. Hoping to get herself out of trouble, Sang Zhi thought of asking her older brother to go instead but he's sort of a hopeless case which leaves her no choice but to ask his roommate Duan Jiaxu.

Through Sang Zhi's (Zhao Lusi) pleading and "coercion", Duan Jiaxu (Chen Zheyuan) agrees to help her with her teacher. As they began to interact more, he cared for her like his own little sister. After Duan Jiaxu graduated from university, the two began leading their own lives due to them being in separate locations and their relationship further drifted apart because of misunderstandings. It wasn't until Sang Zhi moved into Duan Jiaxu's city as she wished that the two met again.

Sang Zhi eventually discovers the source of Duan Jiaxu's constant pressure. She wants to protect the big brother who has always been good to her and their time together has reignited the feelings she had buried in her heart. Through Sang Zhi, Duan Jiaxu learns to let go of his baggage. He also falls in love with the grown up Sang Zhi. Finally, the pure hidden love has blossomed into beautiful flowers.
