Synopsis and Plot Summary
The 27-year-old Huang Yuxuan accidentally finds herself back in 1998 in the body of the 17-year-old Chen Yunru. She meets two people - Li Ziwei who looks just like her ex who passed away in an accident and Mo Junjie who secretly harbors a crush on her. But is the story as simple as it seems?
Huang Yuxuan (Ko Chia-yen) will never forget the first time that Wang Quansheng (Greg Han) confessed his feelings for her. He told her that he liked her and asked her to be his girlfriend. When she asked him why, he gave a smile as a matter of factly and said, "Because from the moment I laid eyes on you, I knew, I liked you." Huang Yuxuan remebered that day well, it was the year 2011 at the end of summer. It was the first day of her sophomore year and they were both nineteen.
Chen Yunru (Ko Chia-yen) will always remember the first time Li Ziwei (Greg Han) spoke to her. She was seated behind the record shop counter watching the store while studying for the college entrance exams. She vividly recalls hearing 'Last Dance', Wu Bai's sixth song from the album he released in 1996, was playing in the background. Chen Yunru remembers that it was the summer of 1998, her last year as a high school student and they were both 17 years old.
In the present time during the year 2019, Huang Yuxuan can't seem to move on from the memories of Wang Quansheng. She tries an APP that will allow her to find a man who is just like him. Unexpectedly, she sees the photo of Chen Yunru who looks just like her.
