Synopsis and Plot Summary
Set during the Southern and Northern Dynasties, it tells the legendary life of Xian Ying, a woman of the Li ethnic group and a leader of her tribe who promulgated Chinese ways.
Xian Ying's (Michelle Ye) life is full of colourful deeds. Because of her meritorious service in protecting the people, she was loved by all ethnic minorities in Lingnan who revered her as the "Saintly Mother of Lingnan." To this day, there are still many "Xian Temples" visited by worshippers every year.
