Synopsis and Plot Summary
In trying to help his crush Bai Wen pursue her dream in the entertainment industry, Shang Xin has his accidental claim to fame where he comes to understand the concept of a public persona and the true face of human nature.
Shang Xin (Feng Man) was just an ordinary, kind and somewhat dorky college student who wanted to help his crush Bai Wen (Li Mi'er) realize her dream of becoming an actress. However, he stumbles into the entertainment industry by mistake and became the "nation's little brother" overnight.
Having a taste of fame and fortune for the first time, he is both smugly satisfied and at a loss on how to deal with the spotlight. When hype, misunderstanding, and slander accompanying his popularity come crashing towards him, he has no choice but to obey company's orders to put on a "persona" as his mask until he finds himself being consumed by it.
Bai Wen is a tenacious and courageous art school student. She's experienced loss at an early age as both of her parents have passed away. Although she has Shang Xin alongside her every step of the way, constant misunderstandings threaten to tear them apart as they experience many ups and downs in the industry.
