Synopsis and Plot Summary

It tells a story spanning nearly 30 years during the '80s and '90s, following four families and two generations that depict the warmth of kinship and love surrounding the most typical Chinese neighborhood during changing times.

In the early 1980s, Wang Xuehua (Zhou Yiran), Dongfang Hong (Zhou Qi) and Yang Siyu (Xu Qijie) were born on the same day. With the birth of the children, the emotional entanglements among three families and two generations living together in the residential area for factory workers unfolds little by little.

The conflict between the parents of the Wang family and the Yang family is passed on to the next generation causing two lovers to split up. Xuehua is moved by Dongfang Hong who has always silently had her back and they become a couple. Now that they've grown up, the three have become the pillars of their families, and the grievances among their loved ones gradually come to a resolution over time. Faced with problems such as career, love, marriage, and family, everyone realizes that only through working together can they move towards a better future.

The booting ceremony was held on February 28, 2022 in Dalian.
It was announced over four months later on July 12, 2022 that filming has wrapped in Beijing.
The title translates to, "Our Days."
