Synopsis and Plot Summary

Dream House follows home improvement designers Yang Guang and Chen Xi as they work together to create the ideal home for their clients.

Yang Guang (Pan Yueming) manages a small company. He is practical and simply wants to make money in peace. However, he runs into trouble due to his tendency to over-accommodate others which leaves him no choice but to work as a project manager for a large company instead. This is where he encounters genius designer Chen Xi (Wang Ou).

Two people who belong to completely different worlds despised each other from the get go over a misunderstanding. When the down-to-earth contractor collides with the "cold" designer, a battle in the home improvement industry rages on. Various types of homeowners have different expectations and their requirements are often had to please. How will they create an ideal home for their clients?
