Synopsis and Plot Summary
Chu Huan accidentally falls of a cliff while chasing down the leader of a drug cartel. He strays into the mysterious world of the "Liyi Tribe" and works together with
its leader Nan Shan to resolve a crisis while healing his inner wounds in the process.
Former agent Chu Huan (Chen Xingxu) who has sustained serious injuries after falling off a cliff stumbles into a small town and meets strange people who heals him. They take him deep into the mountains and asks him to teach the children there. Chu Huan is surprised to discover that the children are immensely powerful and skilled in battle. The mountain itself is shrouded in mystery. There are "mountain guards" keeping watch that cannot step beyond the boundaries of the "river" to the world where ordinary people reside. Once a year, there is a chance for the mountain gates to reverse. On the day when Chu Huan makes up his mind to leave, the unexpected happens and it brings them on a strange adventure.
