Synopsis and Plot Summary
Amidst the transformations of the new millennia (year 2000), the story revolves around a youthful friendship between the "good student" and the "bad boy" that was once infinitely close yet drifted over time.
In a small town in the Southern region, "good student" Li Fei (Zhang Zifeng) and "bad boy" Zhang Chenhao (Zhang Youhao) were in the same class for three years. They experienced the changes in their families under the tide of the times and explored the unknown that the future brought to grow up tenaciously. Although they seem to be from two different worlds, they had each other for company. However, their personal decisions and outside pressures lead them towards opposite directions. Before the gaokao (college entrance exams), a drastic change engulfs their fates.
