Synopsis and Plot Summary
The emperor and the empress who hated each other's guts exchange bodies after falling into the lotus pond. The learned and weakly emperor has become a "she" who gallops across the battlefield while the adorable empress has turned into the black-bellied "him".
Due to a conspiracy and one talisman, Wenzhi Emperor Xiao Jinjun (Zhang Haowei) and his empress Xu Yu (Cecilia Boey) who hails from a clan of generals find themselves in each other's bodies. The emperor who has become a woman has to face the endless turmoils in the inner palace. Furthermore, his dim-witted empress is stuck in his own body!
Faced with the harsh reality that they can only accept, the two people who had nothing but distrust at first start to play their parts and eventually overcome their misunderstandings to become the husband and wife that they vowed to be.
