Synopsis and Plot Summary
On his journey back home after studying abroad, a doctor rescues a patient through the seamless cooperation of a female pilot, thus marking the beautiful start to a romance. However, they soon come to realize that each family has their own crosses to bear.
Doctor Xu Qingfeng (Tong Dawei) and female pilot Guan Yuqing (Tong Liya) immediately formed a lasting impression on each after after meeting on a flight. However, love is often not as simple as it seems.
Xu Qingfeng's mother Xu Xiulan (Xu Di) who raised him single-handedly regards her son as her everything and even intends to meddle in important matters involving his life such as his marriage. Guan Yuqing's father whose beliefs are deeply rooted in the patriarchal attitude of valuing his son more than his daughter allows the arrogant and rebellious Guan Zhenlei (Tan Jianci) to treat his sister like a walking ATM machine. While they initially thought that they could escape their family problems through their careers, they soon realize that in order to be together, they must learn to make adjustments.
