Synopsis and Plot Summary
A wacky group has gathered together in hopes of getting a share of Mrs. Money's riches.
Li Cha (Song Yang) is a poor man while his aunt (Celina Jade) is the richest woman in the world. The two have never met so Li Cha has no idea what she looks like. In order to marry the daughter of a wealthy tycoon, Li Cha turns to his aunt for help, but a group of people mistake Huang Canghai (Huang Cailun), a male worker, for his aunt. To further their own agenda, Li Cha, Huang Cailun and Liang Jierui (Ai Lun) figured that they might as well live the lie. Just as people started currying favors with the fake aunt, the real aunt appears, thus starting a story of hilarious mishaps.
Fun Facts
- The production crew began scouting for a location in May 2017 and ultimately decided to set the story in Lankawi, Malaysia.
- Song Yang jokingly said that his skin was no longer cooperating merely half an hour into filming on the beach. The crew had to put a lot of powder on him. Ai Lun also joked that the cast got a shade tanner everyday that they were filming.
- After crossdressing to play the role of a woman in the past, Ai Lun gave Huang Cailun a lot of encouragement and helped him with his costume as Gu Ma.
