Synopsis and Plot Summary
The story is about a country girl wanting revenge on her enemy. As she tries to go near him, she meets the son of a tycoon who uses love to mend her scars.
In the 1920's, Cheng Ying (Loura Lou), a country girl with outstanding abilities, auditions for a Shanghai theater owned by Ling ShiWei (Mickey He). On the way there, she meets Gao WenZhong (Liu Enyou) and the two quarrel, causing a lot of misunderstandings between them, but deep inside they actually admire each other. With Cheng Ying's outstanding abilities and beautiful voice, she manages to pass the auditions. Gao WenZhong tried to confess his love to Cheng Ying for a couple of times but she always refuses to accept him, causing Gao WenZhong to be devastated as she tries to be close with Ling ShiWei.
As Cheng Ying plans her revenge on Ling ShiWei, she meets her older sister Mei Rou. She initially wanted to bring her sister away but who would have thought that Ling ShiWei would harm her sister. Cheng Ying wants to take justice in her own hands but she too became in danger, luckily, one of her old acquaintances helps her. Cheng Ying promises to never be too rash as she sets out to collect evidences against Ling ShiWei.

- Loura Lou had many performances in the drama and even though she was nervous due to the limited time to practice, she insisted on not using a double.
