Synopsis and Plot Summary

A coming of age story about a team of talented young athletes who were selected from across the nation to train in competitive swimming.

Two years ago during a 200 meter race, Xiao Hai (Xu Yang) and Ah Ruo (Zhao Zhi Wei) were neck and neck. However, Xiao Hai suddenly reduces his speed as though purposely handing out the win to Ah Ruo along with the highly-coveted spot in the national team. Two years later, they meet again as schoolmates. Ah Ruo has become cold and wilful while Xiao Hai has a nonchalant attitude towards the swimming. Both have their own crosses to bear, yet their training and teammates ultimately serve as encouragement and motivation for them to find themselves.
