Synopsis and Plot Summary

A complicated love story unfolds between Gongsun Li, Ying Zheng, Jing Ke and Han Shen that takes them from the martial arts world to the confines of the Qin palace.

Gongsun Li grew up with her martial arts seniors Jing Ke and Han Shen under the tutelage of her grandfather who is a formidable general. Because of the war, Gongsun Li's family is torn apart leading her to abandon her home and escape with Jing Ke. The two lovers have come to rely on each other but a chance encounter brings them face to face with their greatest enemy Ying Zheng, the King of Qin himself.

Without knowing Ying Zheng's true identity, the three become friends, yet Ying Zheng starts falling for Gongsun Li and plots to have her stay by his side. He poisons Jing Ke and trades the antidote in exchange for Gonsun Li. What starts out as a forced relationship slowly changes when Gongsun Li finds a gentler, softler side to the otherwise ruthless Ying Zheng. Meanwhile, Han Shen also infiltrates the palace by pretending to be a guard so that he can protect his martial arts junior at all times.

Fun Facts

It is the third collaboration between Vin Zhang and Dilraba Dilmurat.
Dilraba Dilmurat shared that she had to stand on a stool to match the height difference with Vin Zhang and Liu Chang. She jokingly complained that she didn't even have to do such a thing when she played opposite Vengo Gao in Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms and he's tall too.
Coming off of Pretty Li Hui Zhen and Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, Dilraba Dilmurat said that her character is always running after the men that it's nice to be on the receiving end for a change.
