Synopsis and Plot Summary
Jiang Bai He (Zanilia Zhao Liying) and Li Ming Lang (Hawick Lau) are the perfect match in looks, in personality and in riches but a harrowing fire claims the lives of Bai He's family and pushes her estate to ruins. To add insult to injury, Ming Lang's mother reneges on the couple's engagement after witnessing her future daughter-in-law's unfortunate plight. Pushed by his devotion towards Bai He, Ming Lang takes Bai He in against his mother's wishes but their once fairytale romance is now facing sabotage even from Ming Lang's secretary Ning Xia (Zhang Jia Ni) who has always had feelings for Ming Lang and her older brother Ning Yu Xuan (Kenny Kwan) who is caught in a one-sided love with Bai He.
