Synopsis and Plot Summary
The sequel to Scarlet Heart revolves around the power struggles in the corporate world and follows the romance story between Zhang Xiao and her boss Yin Zheng which is complicated by the arrival of Kang Si Han.
Zhang Xiao (Liu Shi Shi) has traveled back to modern times with fading memories of her encounters in the Qing Dynasty. In the present day, she is an average white collar worker who dreams of a beautiful romance and a stable career. Through a stroke of luck, she clinches a job at Zhen Tian Conglomerate and finds an ally and friend in her boss Yin Zheng (Nicky Wu). Another equally alluring man named Kang Si Han (Sun Yi Zhou) also walks into her life. As it turns out, Kang Si Han and Yin Zheng are the two successors contending for control of the company and Zhang Xiao is ultimately dragged into the fray.
