Synopsis and Plot Summary
During the 1930s, Jiang Xin (Tiffany Tang Yan) is a lady on her way to being reunited with her affluent family but circumstances prevent her from doing so and she ends up losing her memory, becoming the fiancée of triad kingpin Bai Zheng Jing (Hawick Lau) in the process. Du Xiao Han (Yang Rong) is a fugitive who stumbles into a life of luxury and extravagance after stealing the identity of Jiang Xin. Yet there will always come a day when the lies can no longer keep up with the truth.

- Lady and the Liar is the handiwork of the people behind Lan Ling Wang and it shows, from the costumes to the set design to the overall feel of the entire series that transports viewers to a Republican era that's a semblance of the old yet shot in a modern way.
