Synopsis and Plot Summary
Bai Luo Yin (Xu Wei Zhou) has never been close to his mother since he has lived with his father and grandparents for most of his life. When he turned 16, his mother remarried into the Gu family where he meets Gu Hai (Huang Jing Yu), a boy grieving the loss of his own mother and blaming it on his father. The two rebellious teens find common ground and their relationship blossoms into something more.
Fun Facts
- It is a web series based on a BL novel by Zi Ji Dan. Halfway through its run, the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SAPPRFT) halted its broadcast in China, citing disallowable content. Addicted was as popular as Go Princess Go for very different reasons. It did not have an outlandish plot and in fact, its censored version devoid of kissing scenes and the like comes off as regular youth romance that tugs at the hearstrings.
