Synopsis and Plot Summary

A story that follows a romance between a chef and a young woman with a passion for food who works at a culinary show.

Li Yu Zhe owns an exclusive fine dining restaurant while Song Jia Ming works for a culinary show. The two first meet due to a misunderstanding which ends with Jia Ming walking out on Yu Zhe. When Jia Ming learns that she needs to persuade Yu Zhe to appear on the show in order to save it from being cancelled and effectively keep her job, she pays him a visit once more to try to woe him into agreeing. Their repeated encounters make for more misunderstandings that eventually lead to a romance. However, Yu Zhe has been friends with Ye Yi Lan and Zhao Han since they were young. Yi Lan grows jealous of Yu Zhe's new romance and pursues him without a care towards the one-sided feelings that Zhao Lan has always had for her. At the same time, the drama also delves into secrets from the older generation that are slowly uncovered as the story progresses.

It premiered September 11, 2017 during the Golden Eagle Segment on Hunan TV.
It is Thai actor Mike D'Angelo's first time to take the lead in a Chinese drama and also his first collaboration with Rachel Mao.
To make the show more authentic, the production team has hired professional chefs to guide the actors in the right way of cooking.
