The Divine Healer

In a mystical herbal village, Xiaolan, an isatis root spirit, has thrived for centuries. Her existence takes an unexpected turn when she inadvertently rescues Ajiu, a healer with the ability to breach the village barriers.

Unbeknownst to Xiaolan (Lin Xiaozhai), Ah Jiu (Pan Yihong) is not only revered as the esteemed "Divine Doctor Jiu" but also conceals a clandestine identity as Jiu Ming, the commander of Shangqing Bureau tasked with the responsibility of capturing elusive herb spirits. Xiaolan and Ah Jiu suddenly find themselves entwined in an unforeseen spiritual relationship, unleashing a cat-and-mouse game.

• The booting ceremony was held March 18, 2023 in Hengdian.
