Synopsis and Plot Summary

Lin Shuang used to be a top student from a top university. She gave birth shortly after marriage to become a full-time mom but having experienced a betrayal, divorce was imminent. Lin Shuang needs to return to the workplace in order to fight for the custody of her daughter.

After a failed marriage, Lin Shuang (Zhang Xiaofei) runs into former classmate Gu Xu (Huang Xiaoming) who has returned from abroad. After so many years, he never expected they'd cross paths again. He is furious to learn that she had wasted all her years of studies after getting married. As Lin Shuang faces all sorts of tests, Gu Xu who secretly helps her can't help but fall for her too. Lin Shuang applies what she's learned and works hard to usher in a new chapter in her life.
