Synopsis and Plot Summary
It brings to the big screen for the first time a horrifying inside look at the scale of offshore factories engaged in fraudulent activities after a computer programmer and a model who leave China with the hopes to earn big money find themselves trapped.
Pan Sheng (Zhang Yixing) and model Anna (Jin Chen) both went overseas after being recruited for high-paying jobs but it turned out to be nothing but a pipe dream when they end up in an offshore factory run by scammers. Stuck in a brutal cycle, they set their sights on gambler A Tian (Darren Wang) and his girlfriend Xiao Yu (Zhou Ye) to take their cash so they can reach their quota. Can the two escape cruel torture and run from the syndicate's head honcho Manager Lu (Wang Chuanjun) and A Cai (Sun Yang)? In the face of cross-border investigation and pursuit from the police (Yong Mei), where will they go?
