Synopsis and Plot Summary

It tells the story of two post-80s girls, Li Mujia and Tian Rong, who struggle to make their way in the big city after graduation; they have each other's backs and after various setbacks, they finally find what their heart desires.

Li Mujia (Li Landi), a young woman who migrated from a small town to Beijing, lands a job working for a famous law firm after graduation. Through her hard work and perseverance, she slowly makes her way up from an administrative assistant to a lawyer who can hold her own. She becomes acquainted with business elite Li Guang (Wang Yang). While growing as individuals, the relationship between the two also hits road bumps.

Best friend Tian Rong (Wang Ju) fails to land a job after graduation and ends up becoming a real estate agent. She hastily marries Beijing boy Li Wanbing (Xu Shaoying) and goes on to face the biggest tests of her life in her career and her relationship. From 2007 to 2019, their hopes and dreams are unwillingly bend to their reality. Fortunately, after ten years of hard work, they find the sunny side of life.
