Synopsis and Plot Summary
A has-been movie star in old Shanghai is embroiled in a confusing murder case. In order to prove her innocence, she joins hands with her personal assistant to find out the truth.
Hu Xiaodie (Wang Yijin), who comes from an ordinary family, was originally an over-packaged female star; Hua Xiaoqing (Zhao Yue), who comes from a reputable family, is an independent young woman who returned from overseas to straitened circumstances. Due to the murder case that shakes the entire city, the two ladies who learn to become detectives eventually become a force to be reckoned with in the face of evildoers trying to perpetrate crime.
