Synopsis and Plot Summary

The founder of a law firm and a rookie lawyer go from partners in he workplace to roommates under one roof!

Due to insomnia, Qian Heng (Chen Xingxu), the founder of Junheng Law Firm, moves back to the "old and broken" house he used to live in when he was just starting out. To his dismay, the landlord had rented out the one place to two tenants and the other person is none other than his new colleague Cheng Yao (Zhang Ruonan).

Qian Heng initially wanted Cheng Yao to back out on her own but he unexpectedly discovers that she can cure his insomnia, which results in the two living under the same roof. As it turns out, not only are their living habits completely different, they also have different philosophies about work. Qian Heng believes in procedural justice. He values legal principles but not human relationships. Cheng Yao, on the other hand, has a lot of heart. Even so, their time together also allows them to grow because of each other.
