Synopsis and Plot Summary
In order to raise money for mother's treatment and to search for her long lost sister, Mei Fangcao decides to come all the way to Singapore as a Vietnamese bride.
Mei Fangcao experiences many ups and downs in her journey, yet her perseverance and sincerity eventually moves lawyer Zhong Shijie who was just recovering from a serious injury. She eventually marries into the Zhong family as a Vietnamese daughter-in-law. From that moment on, her life changes dramatically and the fates of Fangcao and Shijie become inexplicably entangled.
