Synopsis and Plot Summary
While Xiao Weiming and Alex's story has come to a conclusion, it is the beginning of the romance between Ella and a barista named Maurice. All cause and effect are not accidental, but encounters could be but an illusion such that it is impossible to distinguish between reality and fantasy.
Ella (Selena Lee) and her barista boyfriend Maurice (Joel Chan) are a couple. One day, Maurice mysteriously disappears inside Jinxiao Mansion and returns with memory loss. From a romantic and uninhibited casanova, he has turned into a warm and attentive man, his change in personality so drastic that it's like he's another person altogether. Ella decides to go deep into Jinxiao Mansion to solve the mystery of his disappearance.
Strange things continue to occur inside the building. There's an e-sports team breaking into the virtual world to save their teammates, the tragic story of a mother and daughter, a kidnapping that seems real and fake and and madness caused by comet particles.
