Synopsis and Plot Summary
The cold and handsome godlike doctor from Maple Valley has a poisonous tongue and a warm heart. When he meets the biggest "scourge" in the martial arts world, a "wicked girl" who's been "resurrected" many times, they forge a relationship of nonstop banter and love.
The good-natured Ye Xi (Huang Riying) aspired to become a martial arts heroine when she first stepped into the pugilistic world. Filled with beautiful illusions about life, she is determined to help the weak yet doesn't understand the wickedness of the heart. She is used and betrayed by the so-called "heroes" and deceived by the man that she thought to be "good match."
Suffering the consequences, Ye Xi is seen as a villain and repeatedly harmed. She is alone with no family and no companion but she longs to find someone who can leave a light out for her in the dark. In spite of the heavy blows, Ye Xi's purest intentions and her belief that evil cannot win over good never changes. She does her best to uncover the truth in order to prove her innocence.
During this period, Bai Yue (Li Hongyi) rescues Ye Xi many times but finds this woman to be stubborn, unrepentant and extremely stupid! Bai Yue has always been dazzling and the embodiment of perfection, yet it also means that he is destined to be lonely. As Ye Xi grows stronger and matures, she comes to understand the meaning of true love. With Bai Yue on her side, they not only join forces to eliminate the scum that have wronged her but also restore chivalry in wulin.
