Synopsis and Plot Summary

A ten-year story between two people who are miles apart. They work hard in pursuit of their dreams, and look back to see the person that they first fell in love with.

He Luo (Bu Guan Jin) is sharp and clever but lacking in book smarts. She unwittingly announces her intention to get into a prestigious school. Zhang Yuan (Bai Yu) is a curve wrecker who appears arrogant on the outside, but he is moved by He Luo's persistence and tutors her as a result. They make a pact to attend the same university but the national school board puts them in two different cities. When Zhang Yuan fails the exams, he scrambles to prove himself and to keep his promise to He Luo. However, the journey ahead is full of misunderstandings and the two lovers fall further apart. Standing at the crossroads of life, how will they make their choice?
