Synopsis and Plot Summary
Set in Haidong Province, In the Name of Justice follows prosecutors as they investigate crimes committed by judicial officials under the leadership of the provincial political and legal committee.
Prosecutors Hong Xueyou, Zheng Yaping, and city chief prosecutor Li Dong uncover suspicious details while re-examining a major gang case involving the Wan Group. They find that suspect Zhang Wenqing was wrongly accused, exposing corruption among law enforcers. With support from provincial authorities and cooperation across legal departments, they reopen the “213 Shooting Case” and use legal oversight to dismantle the powerful Tianlong crime syndicate, clear Zhang’s name, and bring corrupt officials to justice.
