Synopsis and Plot Summary
In the early Ning Dynasty, Emperor Huo Jingheng summons Yue Ling’er to the palace, drawing out her brother Yue Chi, a former prime minister in hiding.
Suspecting danger, Yue Chi disguises himself to investigate—but it’s all part of a plan by Emperor Huo and Yue Ling’er to bring him back to court. As hidden agendas unfold, Yue Chi regains power, and he and the emperor form a trusted alliance to defeat political enemies and restore order.
