Too Late to Love

In early Republican China, overseas-trained doctor Lin Xingran returns home to find her mother murdered. To uncover the truth, she infiltrates the home of a powerful tycoon suspected of the crime—only for him to end up dead.

Lin Xingran's investigation of her mother's death has resulted in her becoming the suspect for the death of tycoon. The case falls to Jiang Beichen, the tycoon’s adopted son and Lin’s former lover, who believes she once betrayed him for wealth. But just as they join forces and rekindle their feelings, Lin discovers Jiang might be her mother’s true killer—flipping everything upside down.
