Synopsis and Plot Summary
In the thirty-seventh year of Wanli during the Ming Dynasty, a series of murders have occurred in a town in Jiangnan. The victims have no connections to each other. Furthermore, a statement is left at every crime scene.
As the apprentice of the first victim, young constable Qu Sangeng (Bai Yufan) and his friends work together to launch an investigation that leads them to encounter people from different walks of life who appear one after the other.
