Synopsis and Plot Summary
The bright and cheerful orphan Hu Zi has accidentally devoured the red pearl, a treasure of the utmost yang energy, leading him to cross paths with the grim demon master Qi Xiaoxuan.
In a world of ghosts and demons, Hu Zi (Jiang Long) and Qi Xiaoxuan (Zhang Linghe) are two youths with very different personalities who are forced to go on an adventure together because of the red pearl. They go from detesting each other to seeing each other's shining qualities after experiencing many life and death situations. Qi Xiaoxuan goes to prison to protect Huzi. In order to save him, Hu Zi and his friends participate in the national selection for demon masters where they end up revealing a big conspiracy involving the truth around the demon war five hundred years ago.
The demon army that has been suppressed for five hundred years is moving again in an attempt to destroy the world. The master of the imperial demon masters intends to take advantage of the situation to gain power. Just when human and demon ambitions are on the verge of bringing about a catastrophe, a group of passionate teenagers will not hesitate to sacrifice themselves to save the world.
