Synopsis and Plot Summary
Liuli and Pei Xingjian have a harmonious marriage. When he is demoted from his position, she follows him to Xizhou where they encounter the young noble Qu Chongyu.
Qu Chongyu (Liu Duanduan) is very wary of Pei Xingjian (Timmy Xu) who has suddenly been assigned an official post in their local area. He purposely makes trouble for the new arrivals but Pei Xingjian and his wife Liuli (Gulinazha) share the same mind and heart in doing what's best for the people. Their sincerity eventually moves Qu Chongyu thus turning an enemy into a friend.
Meanwhile, Su Haizheng who is the Anxi Grand Protectorate and his son Su Nanjin have detained Pei Xingjian for their own benefit. Liuli mobilizes the people of Xizhou to write their pleas to help her husband return home. When danger looms, Liuli once again uses her ingenuity to work with Pei Xingjian and Qu Chongyu in ensuring the safety of the people of Xizhou.
