Synopsis and Plot Summary
In the early 1990s, a woman who grew up an orphan and started on the bottom rung makes her way up to find success in the business world.
Despite having a harsh life, Jian Ai (Liu Tao) who came to Guangzhou and worked small jobs relies on her wit and determination to become an outstanding merchandiser and manager. Nonetheless, Jian Ai was not satisfied with her present achievements. After many hardships, she sets up her own trading company. She thrives in spite of the financial crises in the 1990's and the early 2000's to become the woman behind a multinational company. Her relationship with Lin Hengzhi (Raymond Lam) also weathers many storms gradually changing from a strong man weak woman dynamic to that of equals as they become the best partner for each other.
