Synopsis and Plot Summary
A young woman who hails from a family of coroners comes to the capital to realize her dream. She takes the coroner's exam where she encounters a prince who has godly skills when it come to crime-solving.
During the Tang Dynasty, Chu Chu (Su Xiaotong) travels from her hometown of Xinan to Chang'An in order to become a coroner. She meets his royal highness Xiao Jinyu (Wang Ziqi) who recruits her to become his partner in solving crime. The mystery behind Chu Chu's identity becomes a catalyst that has disrupted the balance among the forces in the capital, thus marking the start a a power struggle. Solving the mysteries one at a time, the investigative team of Chu Chu, Xiao Jinyu and their friends unearth a secret from 18 years ago.
