Synopsis and Plot Summary
It tells Li Dazhao's revolutionary deeds from 1912 to 1927 and the stories of people with lofty ideals who devoted themselves to the great cause of Marxism under his leadership.
The pioneer of the Chinese Communist movement, a great Marxist, an outstanding proletarian revolutionist and one of the main founders of the Communist Party of China, Li Dazhao (Zhang Songwen) sought to change the nation. It is also through his influence that Mao Zedong (Li Yifeng), ardent youths and the masses actively devoted themselves to spreading Marxism to take the road towards building a new China.
