Synopsis and Plot Summary
After TV show producer Lei Da mistakenly interferes with Xu Zhi's marriage woes, their paths continue to intertwine until he falls head over heels for her. Faced with an over-protective future father-in-law Xu Beiyang, Lei Da forms an alliance with the two other son-in-laws Wang Chuang and Luo Shixiong to prove themselves worthy of Xu Beiyang's daughters.
Xu Zhi (Xiao Han) who works as a sommelier has gotten divorced after her husband cheated on her. Through a strange combination of circumstances, well-known TV personality Lei Da (Yin Xiaotian) helps Xu Zhi's researcher father Xu Beiyang (Li Chengru) punish his former son-in-law. Lei Da falls in love with Xu Zhi in the process but after everything that has happened, Xu Beiyang has become extremely protective of his daughter.
Meanwhile, Xu Beiyang finds out that his second daughter Xu Wei (Dong Shu) and her boyfriend Wang Chuang (Qu Yi) that he's always regarded as frivolous and immature has secretly gotten married and even faked a pregnancy! His niece Wu Yinuo (Wei Xiaoxuan) has also returned from France to find a boyfriend in China, but settles for an old man who's even older than Xu Beiyang! Subsequently, she becomes involved with fuerdai Luo Shixiong (Xi Yun) to the extent that they are already considering marriage.
As a widower who has lost his wife for many years, the craziness in his household leaves Xu Beiyang utterly miserable. They say that daughters are dad's little lovers from the previous life. Having to give his daughters away is a difficult choice for Xu Beiyang so for the sake of their happiness, he is determined to come up with ingenious ways to test their three suitors.
