Synopsis and Plot Summary

Corporate rookie Ye Xiaobai and her boss Guan Yihe have fallen head over heels in love with each other. Hiding their marriage and Xiaobai's subsequent pregnancy from the office, the two overcome many difficulties to finally have a happy life together.

When Ye Xiaobai (Chen Duling) became single once more due to a failed relationship, her mom started arranging various blind dates for her. In order to escape her mom's plans to set her up with just about anyone, Ye Xiaobai takes the initiative to join a project under Guan Yihe (Hawick Lau) even though has a reputation for being a strict and demanding boss. Their relationship quickly progresses from an awkward meeting to a mutual attraction. As they fall in love, they began dating in secret and quickly tied the knot in a flash marriage. Ye Xiaobai thought that everything would fall into place but unexpectedly faces a dilemma between her personal life and her career.

Dating is not allowed between company employees. Even as they hide their marriage and Ye Xiaobai's pregnancy, there will come a time when one of them must leave. Guan Yihe who is the higher-income earner between the two quits his job for the sake of love and pays off the fee for breaking his contract. With a baby on the way, issues between mother and daughter-in-law, trivial squabbles at home and mounting pressure at work, the newly weds have a hard time coping. As Ye Xiaobai attempts to balance family and career as a woman in the workplace, she matures from an inexperienced girl to a strong working mom.
