Synopsis and Plot Summary

Jiang Shuo is in the business of buying haunted houses and selling them. He crosses paths with Qin Yiheng, a psychologist searching for his father, and Yuan Muqing who is the daughter of a warlord. Together, they partner up to fight against mysterious forces.

Jiang Shuo (Neo Hou) is the only survivor among seven individuals who were invited to a remote island to participate in a game to the death. One year later, a young hoodlum named Jiang Shuo appears in the port town of Changshanzhou where he makes a living selling real estate. He suffers from amnesia but is well-versed in the affairs of the occult.

Qin Yifeng (Liu Dongqin) receives a letter that contains the countdown to Jiang Shuo's time of death and a group photo. He does not know who Jiang Shuo but the six-finger seal on the envelope draws his attention. When Qin Yifeng's father and several others went missing one year ago, they all received invitations with six-finger seals. Qin Yifeng manages to recognize everyone in the photo except for one so he becomes determined to track down the only clue that might lead him back to his father.

Jiang Shuo is able to use zhuyoushu 祝由术 to enter another's psychological time and space. With only a limited time and threats from the defence mechanisms of a person's psyche, Jiang Shuo puts himself at great risk each time he tries to find clues to that will help them unmask the mastermind who is manipulating everything from the background. Fortunately, Qin Yiheng's psychological prowess and female constable Yuan Muqing's (Zhu Xudan) fighting skills are ready to back him up.
