Synopsis and Plot Summary

It is based on the touching real-life stories that emerged during the time when China banded together as a nation to face the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020. It features seven individual stories of ordinary people from different walks of life from medical personnel to drivers and volunteers who worked at the frontline at Wuhan which was once the epicenter of the epidemic.

Uncle Rabbit who accidentally stayed in Wuhan become a cleaner at the hospital. With everyone around him facing life and death situations, he remains optimistic in inspiring others.

Truck driver Lao Yang and the much younger Dong Zhi who is also a driver grow together in their long journey of 1,000 kilometers to send warmth and love to Wuhan.

Married couple Dr. Yue Lubing and Zhou Xingyan who is a nurse both willingly walked into the center of the crisis to help others.

With a mother-in-law and her daughter-in-law both in isolation, it looks there will be no peace between the two but without them realizing, there is something greater that can bring them together.

Medical staff, the People's Liberation Army and volunteers joined hands to fight the epidemic with the hope that the Huoshanshen Hospital can be completed so that severely ill patients can be treated.

Within the hospital, the patients find a temporary family in each other as they find comfort in the face of adversity.

Although he was supposed to retire, Dr. Wu took initiative to oversee the screening work during the epidemic. Rookie civil servant Xiao Zhou becomes his trusted partner. With the young and old teaming up, they tackle many obstacles together, their small contributions making a large impact in the community.
