Synopsis and Plot Summary
A story that follows two brothers fighting bravely to defend their country during wartime.
A hospital in Hebei that is tending to the Eighth Route Army is ambushed. Still suffering from his ailments, Wu Shisan (Zhang Duo) evades the Japanese army's manhunt and escapes with his life. He leads Fang Biyi (Chu Xu) and a group of vigilantes to join a larger unit of fighters that have travelled South. Meanwhile, the Japanese commander vows to kill Wu Shisan to avenge the death of his friend.
