Synopsis and Plot Summary
Due to government policies aimed at enriching the people, Hu Xi Village develops rapidly and its farmers become wealthy.
Huang Jinggui (Guo Tiecheng) is a branch secretary of Hu Xi Village. He has an idea to use excess funds to create a starred destination that will bolster tourism and increase revenue for everyone. Ma Lian (Fang Qingchuo) who is the newly-elected village chief has a different idea. She believes that the money should be used to construct a retirement home for the villagers. The two stand to oppose each other, yet they learn to do what's best for the people.
