Synopsis and Plot Summary

A story revolving around a math genius who learns to master the art of war and becomes a great help to the soldiers fighting in the frontlines in a war against the Japanese.

Through a chance encounter, Yan Xiaobai (Jia Nailiang) becomes blood brothers with a military officer named Xiao Siyu (Qin Hao) and a hooligan named Lei Hu. A bullet shard hits Xiao Siyu in the head, which gravely affects his decision making capacity and becomes the reason that he starts grooming Yan Xiaobai to be his successor. Yan Xiaobai applies his mathematical knowledge to become an accomplished strategist. Over time, he also starts falling for Han Yixuan (Cheng Longni). Meanwhile, his third brother Lei Hu continues to forge a working relationship with the Japanese.
