A writer loses her house when her friends trick her out of the country. She returns home to discover a movie star in her house and they enter into a contract relationship.

Lin Lin (Zheng Jiaohong) is a young manhua writer who lives alone in a big house that she inherited from her parents. Desperate for money, her best friends Dong Dong and Anna trick Lin Lin into believing that she won a trip to Korea and take the liberty of selling her house without permission.

Lin Lin finds herself stranded and broke in a foreign country. She crosses paths with the wealthy Liu Yun (Bu Guanzhi) and actor Li Zeming (Eli) who help her out. Upon her return to China, she discovers that her house had been sold and that the new owner is Li Zeming. He agrees to let her stay in the house as a nanny. Li Zeming has always been caught in a one-sided love with Jia Hui (Amber Lu), but she is in love with Liu Yun. Mad that Liu Yun has rejected her, Jiang Hui forces Li Zeming to confess his feelings to her in public. Instead, Li Zeming gets engaged to Lin Lin. To keep up the lie, Li Zeming will handover Lin Lin's house on the condition that she agrees to a contract marriage for the next six months.
