• Huang Xiaoming graduated from Beijing Film Academy. He is known to be good friends with Vicki Zhao Wei who was his classmate.
• He got into an accident while filming The White Haired Witch of Lunar Kingdom in November 2012 for which he had to undergo nailing surgery. He dubbed himself Steel Nail Man as Iron Man 3 was also showing around that time.
• Huang Xiaoming and Angelababy obtained their marriage licenses on May 27, 2015 and held a wedding ceremony on October 8, 2015. His son nicknamed Little Sponge (小海绵) was born on January 17, 2017 in Hong Kong.
