Synopsis and Plot Summary
Lin Tuo who has just entered society has been diagnosed with ALS and his girlfriend An Zhique has chosen to remain by his side. With the young couple joining hands to fight the disease together, they also search for the meaning of life.
Lin Tuo (Lin Yi) and An Zhique (Li Landi) met at a job fair for summer internship during their junior year and fell in love at first sight. After getting to know each other better, they fell even more in love. With graduation season fast approaching, the two get ready to leave the comforts of school to face society, taking on part-time jobs and applying for full-time jobs as they plan for the future. The road may be rocky at times, but they constantly encourage each other to get on the right track.
Just when everything seemed to be going well, Lin Tuo gets diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, commonly known as ALS. With that, Lin Tuo's seemingly ordinary but hopeful life suddenly comes to a halt. Although his life has been shortened, Lin Tuo who is under the company of his family, lover, friends and colleagues finds the courage to not give up, to coexist with terminal illness and to fight against it. In turn, the people around Lin Tuo and patients just like him also get inspiration from him to re-examine their attitudes towards life as they learn to cherish the moment, to work hard and to live every day with no regrets.
