Synopsis and Plot Summary
Wu Manni has suddenly gone from a "single lady" to a "single mother". In the face of unexpected life change, the story follows the profound and touching struggles of an unmarried mother raising a baby while she's working.
Wu Manni (Liu Ruiqiao) felt sick after partying with her best friend (Xin Ruyi) and she learns thereafter that she is already three months pregnant! After getting over the initial shock, she realizes that it is the child of her ex-boyfriend. After discussing things with her best friend, she decides to get an abortion. At the last minute while lying on the operating table, Manni changes her mind and decides to give birth to the little life growing inside of her.
While driving, Wu Manni who was quarrelling with her ex-boyfriend Xiao Yang (Lyu Xingpeng) over their child gets into a traffic accident. Fang Jiacheng (Wang Yijun) who is the director of the company she has applied for turns out to be the person who collided with her. This marks the start to the journey of an inspirational single mother in the contemporary workplace.
